What you will study

Supply, command and local response

Trace the three identified DC converter groups and separate EL supply path. Explain conventional cabin bright-mode oxygen override, independent entry and reading controls, fitted CMS scenes and separate strobe supplies. Distinguish lighting failures from equipment operating failures.

Measurements, stored energy and emergency devices

Interpret the defined beam-reference setup, concentrated centerlines, EL-panel warp and full illumination independently. Identify battery and tritium installations, valid comparison references and their separate calendar requirements.

Practice, evidence and assessment

Eight lessons, six prediction-and-Apply exercises, eight two-stage cases, a required measurement bench and twelve independent decisions provide 24 lab completion requirements. A separate 40-question final requires 80%; all activities are required for the completion certificate.

Learning outcomes

  • Select fitted lighting technology and applicable serial/modification tasks.
  • Trace source, command, conversion, group and local-load boundaries.
  • Interpret beam alignment, EL-panel warp and illumination coverage independently.
  • Preserve stored-energy, emergency-device and restored-interface evidence.

Aircraft and course applicability

B300/B300C installations described in supplied 130-590031-11 Chapter 33. Distinguish earlier edgelights, the identified Pro Line 21 5-vdc/EL branch, conventional cabin lighting, fitted CMS LED equipment and emergency-sign types. Fusion or other conversions require their own applicable manual and wiring. Beechcraft Super King Air B300/B300C Maintenance Manual 130-590031-11, supplied Chapter 33 effective-page list 1 November 2025. EL inspection November 2025; cabin descriptions April 2023; strobe work November 2024; other pages retain their listed dates.

WWAOG provides independent training. Online completion records knowledge and simulation achievement; it does not replace observed practical qualification, employer authorization or applicable licensing. Use current aircraft-effective maintenance instructions for physical work.
