What you will study
Connected gear and brake architecture
Trace powerpack supply, selector routing, actuators, return paths, mechanical downlocks and alternate handpump. Separate position indications and warning inputs from physical lock evidence; distinguish gear movement, shock-strut servicing and independent brake hydraulics.
Hardware-specific measurements and restoration
Compare identified standard and ER/CER tire-pressure branches, load and cooling conditions, dual-tire equality and fitted-brake wear criteria. Investigate pressure cycling, retained parking pressure and steering binding with complete setup and repeat-proof evidence.
Practice, evidence and assessment
Eight lessons, six prediction-and-Apply exercises, eight two-stage cases, a required measurement bench and twelve independent decisions provide 24 lab completion requirements. A separate 40-question final requires 80%; all activities are required for the completion certificate.
Learning outcomes
- Explain normal and alternate gear movement and physical downlocking.
- Distinguish modified protection circuits and conventional indications.
- Interpret paired tire pressures and fitted-hardware brake wear.
- Retain separate steering, warning and restored-aircraft evidence.
Aircraft and course applicability
B300/B300C gear architecture and conventional indication relationships in supplied Chapter 32, with separate standard and ER/CER wheel/brake/pressure comparisons. Identify actual hardware, serial and Kit 130-3100 or other modifications. Complete effective tasks control jacking, cycling, servicing and towing. Beechcraft Super King Air B300/B300C Maintenance Manual 130-590031-11, supplied Chapter 32 effective-page list 1 November 2025. Hydraulic descriptions April 2018; troubleshooting and tire servicing April 2023; standard brake wear inspection October 2020. Hardware/effectivity branches retain their own dates and criteria.
WWAOG provides independent training. Online completion records knowledge and simulation achievement; it does not replace observed practical qualification, employer authorization or applicable licensing. Use current aircraft-effective maintenance instructions for physical work.
