What you will study
Glazing condition and antistatic evidence
Distinguish heated windshields, cabin acrylic windows, seals, attachments and separate shades. Interpret multi-angle inspection, coating-specific cleaning and mapped frame-to-glass resistance observations.
Shade authority and emergency power
Trace master override, PAX/local authority, side feeds and individual controller response. Compare the identified emergency-exit clarity duration, timing origin and charge preparation separately from normal shade operation and pressure-window condition.
Practice, evidence and assessment
Eight lessons, six prediction-and-Apply exercises, eight two-stage cases, a required measurement bench and twelve independent decisions provide 24 lab completion requirements. A separate 40-question final requires 80%; all activities are required for the completion certificate.
Learning outcomes
- Explain separate glazing, seal, attachment and shade boundaries.
- Distinguish master authority, common supply and local failures.
- Interpret mapped antistatic readings and emergency capacity timing.
- Select configuration-effective inspection, restoration and limitation sources.
Aircraft and course applicability
B300/B300C window and windshield relationships in supplied Chapter 56. Electronic shade lessons apply to the identified FL-601, FL-672, FL-688-and-on CMS/EWS branches where fitted. Verify actual control arrangement, serial, window parts and modifications. Pressure/optical glazing, shade operation and emergency power are assessed separately. Beechcraft Super King Air B300/B300C Maintenance Manual 130-590031-11, supplied Chapter 56 list of effective pages 1 November 2025. Acrylic/windshield inspection November 2025; antistatic test April 2023; electronic shade description/tests November 2024. Aircraft-effective instructions and referenced limitations govern physical work.
WWAOG provides independent training. Online completion records knowledge and simulation achievement; it does not replace observed practical qualification, employer authorization or applicable licensing. Use current aircraft-effective maintenance instructions for physical work.
