What you will study
Connect fuel conditioning, metering and distribution
Connect the heater, separate filter bypasses, metering functions, simplex nozzle groups and shutdown collection path.
Choose the installed indication investigation
Work through the installed flow-indicator and totalizer troubleshooting paths without confusing rate, fuel used and initial fuel entry.
Interpret pump-drive and conical-seal evidence
Interpret the actual stages of the pump-drive inspection and the named transmitter conical-seal task.
Trace the actual collection route
Trace an identified drain line to its collection branch and separate fuel, lube-oil and leakage findings.
Complete the Rev A diagnostic learning path
Complete eight lesson checks, six prediction-and-Apply exercises, eight two-stage cases and six fixed records with 21 classifications and two entered calculations before the 12-question independent review. The lab has 24 requirements; the review requires at least 80% and all eight critical decisions correct in one attempt. Pass the separate 32-question final with at least 26 correct. Practical evaluation and maintenance release remain separate.
Learning outcomes
- Explain the distinct roles of fuel delivery, scheduling, distribution and electrical indication on the PT6A-114/-114A installation.
- Choose the applicable installed indication branch and interpret powered circuit checks and known-good component substitutions.
- Use the specified pump, sealed-connection and drain observations to separate a supported finding from the next required inspection or test.
- Calculate fuel used and remaining from supplied training records, then explain why an initial-entry error persists in a computed fuel display.
Aircraft and course applicability
Aircraft-side PT6A-114/-114A fuel-delivery, installed flow/totalizer, pump-drive, specified transmitter-connection and drain diagnostic study, based on supplied Cessna D2078 Revision 42, June 2024. Current aircraft-effective maintenance data govern actual work. Original fictional records support reasoning practice; online completion is separate from supervised practical competence and maintenance authorization. Functional fuel-control roles are included; supplier FCU bench calibration and internal pneumatic schedules are outside this course.
WWAOG provides independent training. Online completion records knowledge and simulation achievement; it does not replace observed practical qualification, employer authorization or applicable licensing. Use current aircraft-effective maintenance instructions for physical work.
