What you will study
Prevention and accountability
Understand how debris enters a work area and how tool accountability and contamination control help prevent it. Connect individual work habits to the wider responsibilities of a maintenance or ramp team.
Inspection, evidence and corrective action
Practise area inspections, evidence capture and reporting. Relate an identified condition to an appropriate corrective action and the evidence needed to support follow-up.
Build repeatable habits
Eight visual exercises and 32 knowledge cases turn FOD concepts into decision practice. The illustrated Rev F manual, scored mastery lab and separate 60-question final support a structured learning path.
Learning outcomes
- Identify potential FOD sources and contamination paths.
- Explain tool-accountability responsibilities.
- Capture and communicate inspection evidence.
- Connect an identified FOD condition to corrective action and follow-up.
Aircraft and course applicability
Self-paced FOD prevention knowledge training using the illustrated Rev F manual. Online completion and workplace authorization are separate.
WWAOG provides independent training. Online completion records knowledge and simulation achievement; it does not replace observed practical qualification, employer authorization or applicable licensing. Use current aircraft-effective maintenance instructions for physical work.
