What you will study
Connected oil-system architecture
Trace pressure supply, scavenge pumps, cooler and oil-to-fuel heater routing. Keep breather condition, oil servicing and continuous/discrete indications distinct.
Independent diagnostic comparisons
Compare transducer outputs in both directions, calculate switch reset from actual decreasing closure, and use temperature-specific bulb resistance. Preserve contamination and mechanical findings even when electrical tests pass.
Practice and demonstrate understanding
Eight lessons, six prediction-and-Apply exercises, eight two-stage cases, a required measurement bench and twelve independent decisions provide 24 lab requirements. The independent review requires every critical decision. A separate 40-question final requires 80%; the certificate requires all learning activities.
Learning outcomes
- Explain the pressure, scavenge, cooling and breather relationships.
- Distinguish continuous transducer output from warning-switch behavior.
- Apply point-specific voltage, hysteresis and bulb-resistance criteria.
- Build a reproducible fault record with restoration and repeat proof.
Aircraft and course applicability
King Air B300/B300C PT6A-60A oil systems and the indicating arrangements described in supplied 130-590031-11 Chapter 79. Confirm actual serial, engine, instruments, sensors and modifications. Later displays and conversions require their own effective data. This course does not provide engine-overhaul or oil-debris acceptance instructions. Beechcraft Super King Air B300/B300C Maintenance Manual 130-590031-11, supplied Chapter 79 effective-page list November 1, 2024. System descriptions April 1, 2018; pressure/switch tests April 1, 2018; bulb test and inspection tasks April 15, 2023; servicing November 1, 2024.
WWAOG provides independent training. Online completion records knowledge and simulation achievement; it does not replace observed practical qualification, employer authorization or applicable licensing. Use current aircraft-effective maintenance instructions for physical work.
