What you will study
Storage, control and delivery
Follow the cylinder valve, remote mechanical control, high-pressure gauge capillary, regulator and mask outlets. Separate two-port uncompensated, compensated and portable arrangements; identify cylinder, regulator, mask and installation effectivity.
Measurements, inspections and calendar limits
Compare temperature-corrected leak-rate records, stabilized outlet regulation and compensated pressure relationships. Distinguish cylinder service life, hydrostatic due dates, mask restoration and aircraft-program inspections without substituting one requirement for another.
Practice, evidence and assessment
Eight lessons, six prediction-and-Apply exercises, eight two-stage cases, a required measurement bench and twelve independent decisions provide 24 lab completion requirements. A separate 40-question final requires 80%; all activities are required for the completion certificate.
Learning outcomes
- Explain the distinct oxygen storage, control, sensing and delivery paths.
- Select the installed equipment branch before applying limits.
- Interpret normalized leakage and pressure-regulation evidence.
- Build a complete equipment-specific inspection and calendar record.
Aircraft and course applicability
Caravan 208/208B installed and portable oxygen arrangements in the supplied Model 208 manual. Includes compensated and two-port uncompensated branches. Identify serial, installed cylinder/regulator/masks and modifications; portable and partial installations are assessed separately. Cessna Model 208 Maintenance Manual D2078, supplied Revision 42 compilation. Chapter 35 effective-page list 1 May 2024; high-pressure-line task May 2024; Chapter 05 inspection/calendar pages June 2024. Older unchanged description pages retain their listed dates. Refer to the applicable current aircraft program and complete tasks for physical maintenance.
WWAOG provides independent training. Online completion records knowledge and simulation achievement; it does not replace observed practical qualification, employer authorization or applicable licensing. Use current aircraft-effective maintenance instructions for physical work.
