What you will study
Source, distribution and recovery
Trace regulated pneumatic supply, automatic and manual sequencing, branch delivery and vacuum hold-down. Distinguish monitored pressure indication from actual inflation and recovery at every fitted boot group.
Boot condition and trapped-pressure measurement
Connect installation, bonding and materials to boot performance. Complete the identified isolated test-volume comparison using the actual reading after a full minute, then account for restoration and required operational checks.
Practice, evidence and assessment
Eight lessons, six prediction-and-Apply exercises, eight two-stage cases and twelve independent decisions support the separate 40-question final. The required measurement bench brings the lab to 24 completion requirements.
Learning outcomes
- Explain pneumatic supply, distribution and vacuum recovery.
- Predict automatic and manual cycle behavior.
- Distinguish branch indication from actual boot movement.
- Interpret the identified pressure-loss comparison and document remaining work.
Aircraft and course applicability
Installed pneumatic boot systems on Caravan 208/208B aircraft: regulated source, three-stage distribution, vacuum hold-down, branch indication and the identified trapped-pressure check. TKS fluid installations use a separate course. Cessna D2078 Rev 42, supplied Model 208 maintenance manual, June 2024 compilation; individual page dates retained.
WWAOG provides independent training. Online completion records knowledge and simulation achievement; it does not replace observed practical qualification, employer authorization or applicable licensing. Use current aircraft-effective maintenance instructions for physical work.
