King Air 200/B200 Pneumatic Supply and Vacuum Diagnostics

Trace compressor bleed air through pressure regulation and ejector suction, then follow filtered air to the installed instruments. A 43-page handbook, clickable airflow maps, eight lesson decisions, ten paired fault cases and three six-field maintenance jobs connect the system to measured tests. Includes four extra workshop stations and a separate 40-question final at 80%.

What you will study

Trace pressure supply and regulation

Follow compressor bleed air through E177/E178, each firewall shutoff and check valve, and the common pressure regulator. Keep the two engine supply branches distinct before examining a shared pressure result.

Connect ejector suction and filtered instrument air

Explain how the regulator supplies the ejector while filtered inlet air passes through the installed air-driven instruments. Compare the external-valve, internal-adjustment and capped electric turn/bank branches shown in the course maps.

Choose the test that answers the finding

Keep common pressure, system vacuum and individual turn/slip tests separate. Use the correct pressure and clean filters before adjusting vacuum, then apply the installed hardware locking method and normal connections.

Record the measured result and repeat check

Complete eight lesson decisions, ten paired fault cases, three six-field maintenance jobs and four additional ungraded workshop stations. Record the actual test setup, observation, supported decision and fresh repeat result.

Learning outcomes

  • Trace each engine bleed-air branch through its shutoff and check valve to common pressure regulation.
  • Explain ejector suction and the separate filtered-air path to installed air-driven instruments.
  • Distinguish common pressure, system vacuum and individual turn/slip instrument tests.
  • Select the method for the installed external/internal flow-control and air/electric instrument branch.
  • Record test setup, measurements, supported fault decisions and fresh repeat results.

Aircraft and course applicability

Systems and maintenance-decision training for the identified King Air 200/B200 pneumatic and vacuum installations in supplied Maintenance Manual 101-590010-19 Chapters 36/37, with January 1, 2019 effective-page lists. The actual installed air/electric instruments and external/internal flow-control branch determine the applicable method. This study edition does not establish current aircraft applicability; actual maintenance uses current controlled instructions. Course completion records online systems study and assessment. Practical competence, maintenance authorization and regulatory qualification are separate.

WWAOG provides independent training. Online completion records knowledge and simulation achievement; it does not replace observed practical qualification, employer authorization or applicable licensing. Use current aircraft-effective maintenance instructions for physical work.

About 2 minutes
01 · Understand

Common pressure, system vacuum and individual turn/slip-instrument tests establish different findings. A pressure result alone does not show that the ejector, filtered instrument-air path or each installed instrument passes its own applicable test.

Keep the shared supply and individual instrument tests separate
  1. Confirm the installed external/internal flow-control and air/electric instrument branch
  2. Record common pressure and system vacuum as separate tests
  3. Use the applicable individual instrument test and retain a fresh repeat result
02 · Read the supplied record

Fictional King Air 200/B200 study record: the applicable common-pressure test is recorded within its supplied criterion, while system vacuum is below its separate supplied criterion. The technician has not yet verified the installed external/internal flow-control branch or completed an individual turn/slip-instrument test.

03 · Make a decisionWhich next interpretation is supported by the supplied record?

Original public teaching example based on the course’s published scope. Supplied records and values are training data. Aircraft maintenance uses current applicable instructions; this sample does not record course completion.
