What you will study
Locate generation, battery and distribution equipment
Find the starter-generators, generator control units (GCUs), main battery, external-power receptacle and junction boxes. Use named access and component information to connect physical location with the electrical diagram.
Trace normal and emergency power paths
Explore battery, GPU, single-generator, parallel-generator and emergency supply. Distinguish a cockpit selection, a closed contactor, a powered bus and an EIS measurement; identify each retained emergency feed separately.
Interpret generator and battery records
Compare qualified current-sharing observations, battery case and indicated-temperature records, and actual component operational checks. Keep disconnected-connector checks separate from reconnected operation and restoration.
Explain load shedding and prove the affected function
Seven visual views and 21 named components support ten lesson decisions, ten two-part cases and three independent five-field jobs. Separate weight-on-wheels logic, intended load shedding and remote breaker-monitor reports from a failed load. The separate 40-question final requires 80%.
Learning outcomes
- Locate the named electrical component and its access.
- Trace normal generation, battery, GPU and retained emergency feeds.
- Distinguish command, contactor, bus power and indication.
- Interpret qualified load-sharing and battery-indication records.
- Keep component checks, restoration and unresolved work visible.
Aircraft and course applicability
Identified Model 408 electrical installations in supplied Cessna 408MM Revision 13 Chapter 24, with its September 1, 2025 effective-page list and individual task dates retained. Installed battery chemistry, equipment and applicable component tasks control each example. This course interprets supplied maintenance records; it does not establish battery capacity, unique failed-component isolation or maintenance release.
WWAOG provides independent training. Online completion records knowledge and simulation achievement; it does not replace observed practical qualification, employer authorization or applicable licensing. Use current aircraft-effective maintenance instructions for physical work.
