What you will study
Control understanding before adjustment
Study the illustrated manual and connect the control-system configuration to the adjustment being considered. Predict the effect of a change before interpreting the resulting engine response.
Moving engine displays and fault scenarios
Practise through simulated moving engine displays and diagnose rigging faults. Follow the reasoning from the observed condition through an adjustment, restoration and repeat proof.
Supported self-paced learning
The course combines manual study, simulator practice and a final examination. Built-in Hint and Manual Help support review when a decision needs more explanation; practical rigging competence must be evaluated separately.
Learning outcomes
- Identify the engine-control configuration within course scope.
- Predict an adjustment's effect on simulated engine response.
- Use fault evidence to explain a rigging decision.
- Recognize why repeat proof and restoration are part of the job.
Aircraft and course applicability
Cessna 208B with the PT6A-140 engine installation stated in the course. Rigging on other PT6 models and installations requires separate applicability review.
WWAOG provides independent training. Online completion records knowledge and simulation achievement; it does not replace observed practical qualification, employer authorization or applicable licensing. Use current aircraft-effective maintenance instructions for physical work.
